Community raises more than $2.5 million for Season of Sharing

At the campaign's halfway mark, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County's Season of Sharing campaign has now received more than $2.5 million in donations from the community and local foundations.
About $2.1 million of the total donations have been raised by donors in the community, and to incentivize the community to donate, The Patterson Foundation pledged to contribute $100,000 to the campaign for every $500,000 the community contributes through January.
With The Patterson Foundation's total of $400,000 contributed to Season of Sharing, the total for the annual campaign has now received over $2.5 million in donations.
