Teen Court receives Equity & Access Grant

With the support of the Allen Wirtz Nobbe and Jo Bowen Nobbe Fund at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Teen Court of Sarasota received a $25,000 grant to provide youth a second chance free of a conviction on their record or a mark on their school transcripts with a successful completion of the program. These programs and services are provided to youth in our local school system, through referrals from local law enforcement agencies, school administrators and parents in our local community. Teen Court of Sarasota provides a case manager at each local high school one day per week to support staff for students that show red flags of making poor choices and are getting off track.
