Pines of Sarasota Foundation Awarded $20,000 Grant

Pines of Sarasota Foundation has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the James Franklin Warnell & Dorothy J. Warnell Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to support the Pines of Sarasota Nursing Education Program.
The grant will help provide free education and training for personal care assistants and certified nursing assistants, creating pathways to employment and career advancement while strengthening the skilled workforce that cares for Pines of Sarasota residents.
“In response to unprecedented staffing shortages across Florida, Pines of Sarasota created the Nursing Education Program to invest directly in our workforce and our community,” said Andrea Stephens, president of Pines of Sarasota Foundation. “This program removes financial barriers to education while ensuring our residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.”
