Michael Melendez is the Facility and Information Technology Specialist for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. In this role, he is responsible for providing support in informational technology and managing the facility, including maintaining fixed and consumable assets.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Michael worked in the non-profit healthcare sector, which awakened a passion for working with our community.
Michael moved to Florida in 2014 from New England. Although he has many interests, some closest to his heart include woodworking, traveling, spending time with family, ‘escape rooms,’ and puzzles of all kinds.
