Jacob Meyers is Manager of Information Technology and Facilities at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. In this role, Jacob is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day technology needs and operations, working directly with on-site staff to assist with hardware and software, and managing IT-related projects and training.
Driven by his passion for the I.T. field, Jacob feels as though his calling is to deliver service to those who change peoples’ lives. While obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisville, he served as a project manager helping build a fully functional website for a local nonprofit organization. After graduation, he worked at Centerstone, where he learned the in-and-outs of how a nonprofit operates and acts on its values.
While new to the Sarasota area, Jacob truly believes he has found a second home here, one that has welcomed him with open arms. Outside of work, he enjoys riding bikes, taking his dog for long walks in parks around Sarasota County, golfing, watching movies, and traveling.
