Sarasota Opera Receives $12,500 Grant for Strategic Planning

Sarasota Opera has received a $12,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to support consultant fees for its strategic-planning process.
The funding was made possible through the foundation’s Joseph and Sylvia Bloom Unrestricted Fund, according to a Sarasota Opera news release.
Sarasota Opera is working with Amy Funk and Peter Hussell of F&H Partners to develop the plan. The organization said a 14-member strategic planning committee of staff and board members has participated in working sessions and will conduct a final review before board consideration.
