The Ringling Receives Community Foundation Grant to Expand Programs

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is proud to announce a grant of $43,000 from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to support key initiatives such as increased health and accessibility programming, the museum’s Community Gallery, and digital outreach focused on arts education and community engagement.

“The Community Foundation of Sarasota County has always been a strong partner with the arts in our community,” says Steven High, executive director of The Ringling. “We are thrilled to be awarded this new grant that will support our education staff as they continue to create great programs in health and innovation that are accessible for all.”

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County is the lead sponsor of the Community Gallery, a free public exhibition space dedicated to displaying works of art produced by community-based, nonprofit, and student groups in the area.
