Categories: Stories of Impact, COMMUNITY CARE: Health & Hunger,
Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is pleased to announce it has received an $11,500 Capacity Building grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to support one year of its customer relationship management, patient screening, and volunteer management software.
This grant was made possible through the generous support of three charitable funds at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County: the Arthur T. Esslinger Memorial Fund, the William E. and Florence E. Perry Fund for Health & Human Services, and the James Franklin Warnell & Dorothy J. Warnell Fund.
The funding will enable the foundation to enhance and maintain critical technology systems that streamline internal processes, improve data accuracy, and strengthen coordination among staff and volunteers. These improvements directly support the foundation’s ability to efficiently identify patient needs, manage assistance requests, and deliver timely financial support to adults undergoing cancer treatment in the state of Florida.
