With nearly two decades of experience as a senior development leader in the nonprofit sector, Michelle Maslowski is an accomplished fundraising executive with a proven track record of developing and implementing high-impact philanthropic strategies that result in transformational gifts, sustainable fundraising growth, and long-term donor engagement.

As the director of philanthropy for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Michelle provides leadership to the foundation's team of philanthropic advisors while managing a portfolio of donor and professional advisor relationships. She focuses on enhancing the donor experience through coaching, strategic planning, process improvement, donor stewardship, and cross-functional collaboration to expand charitable giving throughout the region.

Previously, Michelle served as a fundraising consultant with Carter, where she advised nonprofit organizations on fundraising strategy, campaign planning, major gifts, and donor engagement, and served in other senior roles with Moffitt Cancer Center, Drexel University, and Jefferson Health. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, an adjunct professor at The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and an Association of Fundraising Professionals Certified Facilitator. She serves on the board of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

A former professional basketball player, Michelle competed throughout Europe for 10 years following an outstanding collegiate career at Drexel University, where she remains the program's second all-time leading scorer.
