Our Staff

Helena Von Otto spent more than two decades in sales, marketing, and financial services before following her heart into philanthropy. She comes to the Community Foundation of Sarasota County with 10 years of nonprofit experience, including leading a capital campaign at Eleos Wellness & Support that brought to life a new facility for behavioral health services across the Suncoast, and most recently working as a nonprofit consultant. She has also served on the boards of The Living Lab and the Made in Florida Movement. Helena brings a genuine passion for connecting donors with causes that leave the world better than they found it. A proud Sarasota resident, she finds joy in the area's vibrant arts scene, rich culture, and beautiful beaches.
