Our Staff

Cooper Levey-Baker joined the Community Foundation of Sarasota County in 2025 as the organization’s Manager, Communications. In this role, he is responsible for helping tell the story of the foundation through media outreach, digital media campaigns and more.

Before joining the foundation, Cooper worked as a journalist in the Sarasota area for two decades, covering everything from the arts to the environment, and his work has won multiple awards from the Florida Magazine Association and the Florida Society for Professional Journalism. A graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Tampa, he lives in Sarasota with his wife, Rachel, and his two sons, Theo and Felix.
