Fund Description

The HBCU National Center Foundation supports and benefits Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide scholarships to students who wish to participate in experiential education programs, such as internships as well as living and learning at the HBCU National Center.

Such programs will take place outside the college campus and in or about Washington, D.C. The Fund also supports and benefits qualified public 501(c)3 tax exempt organizations who support HBCUs and provide a direct platform, whether in person or on-line, to enhance the student’s success.

Students must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum grade point average of 2.7.
