Satchel's Last Resort | Grant Supports Emergency Medical Fund

Thank you to the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for the recent grant award of $16,000 from the Helen C. Schwieder Fund to support our emergency medical fund. Two weeks ago we rescued Jack from a county shelter. Jack needed a serious, non-routine, hernia operation that only a speciality vet could perform. The cost of the hernia surgery was in excess of $3,000. Jack is now recovering in his foster home – a happy boy on his way to a full recovery and will be available for adoption very soon.
