Recognitions include a Golden Image Award and Judges’ Award.

SARASOTA, FL – The Community Foundation of Sarasota County was recognized as a recipient of a Golden Image Award and Judges’ Award by the Florida Public Relations Association during its first-ever virtual Golden Image Awards Gala. The multiple state-level awards underscore the foundation’s efforts to further connect the community through its redesigned website launched in October 2019 by enhancing its transparency, storytelling capabilities, and mobile-responsive, multilingual platform.

“Now more than ever, our community has found comfort and opportunity in all things digital, and this includes the timeless power of storytelling,” said Mischa Kirby, APR, Vice President of Strategy and Communications at the Community Foundation. “We are honored that our website is recognized as a trusted resource and connector, and we will continue to expand and improve this virtual space to share more voices and positive stories of impact.”

Held annually, the Golden Image Awards recognize excellence in public relations campaigns and practitioners, especially those who excel in innovation, planning, and design. As standards of excellence in the state of Florida, Golden Image Awards are presented to the top-scorning entry in each category, whereas Judges’ Awards represent an entry that achieves maximum results while remaining within budget.

The website was designed by Morweb.org, a software company and digital design agency specializing in strengthening the vision of nonprofit organizations worldwide. With more than 1,500 completed projects, Morweb.org combines CMS software with cutting-edge responsive design to create webpages that are emotional, engaging, and easily shareable from all devices, including mobile.
