Allison Hughes-Asevedo

Allison Hughes-Asevedo joined the Community Foundation in 2025 as events and special projects manager, a role in which she oversees the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events that foster community engagement and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and nonprofits.

Prior to joining the foundation, she served as development and events coordinator for Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee County and spent more than two decades with Bealls Inc., ultimately serving as photo studio director. A native Floridian and lifelong resident of the Bradenton area, she lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys the beach, anything outdoors, and time with family and friends.
