Kim Adams

Kim Adams is Manager of Events at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Having worked as an activities assistant for a retirement community and a day-of-wedding assistant, Kim views events as ways to bring people together and strengthen connections, and strives to apply this philosophy in her work with the community.

After graduating from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Kim participated as an intern in the Walt Disney World College Program. She joined the Community Foundation in 2018 as a Coordinator of Stewardship and Events before diving into her current role as part of the Marketing Team.

As a resident of Venice, Kim regards her work at the Community Foundation as a way to give back to our larger Suncoast community. Outside of work, Kim enjoys visiting Disney World theme parks, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
