Karli Cole

Karli Cole is Scholarship Specialist at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. As a member of the Community Impact Team, Karli takes an active role in communicating with scholarship applicants, sending award notifications, verifying scholarship applications, and collaborating with volunteer scholarship review committees.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation in February 2020, Karli worked as a Worker’s Compensation Insurance Adjuster and Claims Service Coordinator at Next Level Administrators in Bradenton, as well as a Patient Service Specialist at Florida Cancer Specialists. As a precursor to her current commitment to students, she served as Director of After School Programs at New Path Academy, a nonprofit K-12 school, and in a similar role at Palmetto Youth Center, where she coordinated a nightly teen program called “HYPE" (Helping Young People Excel).

Karli has called the Sarasota-Bradenton area home for her entire life. After graduating from Braden River High School, she received her AA degree from the State College of Florida and finished her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. She enjoys fitness in all its forms – running, weight training, hiking, among others – and living a healthy lifestyle. A lifelong appreciator of all things Performing Arts, she is a passionate dancer and singer, having performed in several musical theatre productions at SCF and the Venice Theatre and taught dance at FreeStyle Creative Dance Studio.
