What Murray Does at the Foundation
As Manager of Communications and Marketing, Murray oversees the Foundation’s communications, media relations, social media, and marketing efforts. He also directs the branding, strategic communications, and promotional efforts for the Giving Challenge, which benefits more than 560 local nonprofit organizations, as well as Season of Sharing, which provides a safety-net for families living under the threat of homelessness. Murray believes in the power of results-based, strategic communications and storytelling to build movements and drive positive social change. In his role, Murray most enjoys telling the various stories of good things happening in our community.
When Murray’s Not Working
In his spare time he can be found nourishing an appetite for music, graphic design, documentaries, tennis, and soccer. He also enjoys recording music and playing guitar, bass, and piano. He serves on the boards of the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee’s Alumni Group and the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida PR Association.
