SARASOTA -- The Community Foundation of Sarasota County recently awarded 236 new scholarships valued at $532,200 to graduating high school seniors and college students.
There are 44 distinct scholarship funds within the Community Foundation. The foundation has awarded almost $1 million in scholarships for the fiscal year, which ended May 31. The total includes adult learners and renewal scholarships.
From the Abraham Educational Fund: $2,000 each:
