One donor at a time, we pride ourselves on our ability to carefully listen to your wants and needs to achieve lasting impact in the community.
How We Can Help
Each of us has many choices about where to give our time, talent and treasure. If you’d like to support a particular nonprofit or cause, we can provide you with in-depth information about organizations serving our region.
Additionally, The Giving Partner provides detailed financial, governance, and programmatic information about more than 600 local nonprofits in our area. Much of the information provided in the profiles is verified by foundation staff members.

Adventures in Giving
Adventures in Giving (www.givingadventures.org) is a unique online tool developed as a collaborative project by the Boston Foundation, Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Community Foundation of Sarasota County, and The Philanthropic Initiative as a service to donors and philanthropic individuals. This tool leads donors through a journey of simple questions to reflect on their giving, define their philanthropic goals, explore different approaches to giving, and learn about how to make giving more effective. Donors receive a customized report to showcase possibilities for helping their philanthropy make an even greater impact in the ways most important to them.
